Yeah! He's as honest as the day is long.
NOT.

Somehow you equate lies with the health and strength of this country.

You focus on a weakness since that is all that you have to complain about.

"Once understood how necessary it is for propaganda in be adjusted to the broad mass, the following rule results:

It is a mistake to make propaganda many-sided, like scientific instruction, for instance.
The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous.

In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan. As soon as you sacrifice this slogan and try to be many-sided, the effect will piddle away, for the crowd can neither digest nor retain the material offered. In this way the result is weakened and in the end entirely cancelled out.

Thus we see that propaganda must follow a simple line and correspondingly the basic tactics must be psychologically sound ...

What, for example, would we say about a poster that was supposed to advertise a new soap and that described other soaps as 'good'?

We would only shake our heads.

Exactly the same applies to political advertising.

The function of propaganda is, for example, not to weigh and ponder the rights of different people, but exclusively to emphasize the one right which it has set out to argue for. Its task is not to make an objective study of the truth, in so far as it favors the enemy, and then set it before the masses with academic fairness; its task is to serve our own right, always and unflinchingly."

Since you like lists. Here's one for you. Why not ask these people associated with the Clintons how they feel about them. OH, yeah, they are all dead. I, personally, know another one that is not on the list that was suicided at age 60! She was my dear, dear friend. I was to arrive at her home the next day for a week long visit. She and i had tickets to come here for my rental search in 2012 just before my husband and I were to move back here.

McDougal – Clinton’s convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr’s investigation.

8 – Jerry Parks – Head of Clinton’s gubernatorial security team in Little Rock. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock. Park’s son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.

Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.

When people regurgitate rhetoric and codified language set forth by hate mongers of any political persuasion they prove themselves to be susceptible to propaganda. People can side with any devil they wish but should understand they are mouthpieces for someone else's agenda when they espouse slogans and "insider" code words signaling to others they are part of a special team.

And, yes, I include Clinton's deplorable comment. Disgusting then, disgusting now.

My ego far is from fragile, quit making this about me.

pretty spot on.

Yes, Gumbo, I do realize Hitlary lost...I thank God! How could've anyone read what I said and think I was on her side. I was at one time, long ago.
Actually, I was a card carry Democrat from McGovern until '08! When they didn't nominate Hills, I started asking why, why a virtual unknown, nobody over took her for the nomination. I quickly realized I wasn't even believing what the Dems stood for and they had slipped way too far to the left. I considered myself a moderate.
Once I started researching and getting a real picture, I saw I was one the wrong side. Did I just say side? I'm not really a Dem or Rep. Both sides are correct on many things. Both are wrong on just as many.

But, the media has influenced so many people to their false narrative it's sickening.

The following quote comes to my mind when I think about the left these days.

"Leftists tend to hate anything that has an image of being strong, good and successful. They hate America, they hate Western civilization, they hate white males, they hate rationality. The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They SAY they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them, or at best he GRUDGINGLY admits that they exist; whereas he ENTHUSIASTICALLY points out (and often greatly exaggerates) these faults where they appear in Western civilization. Thus it is clear that these faults are not the leftist’s real motive for hating America and the West. He hates America and the West because they are strong and successful."

Ponder on that awhile. And, give Trump a chance. I gave Obummer a chance and he disappointed me greatly. You see, I've woken up and you still believe the lies. Is name calling all you got? If it is, I'm sad for you!

it really doesnt sound like you are giving him a fair shake either. but not to the rabid extreme of alana.

No one is not giving Trump a chance (well maybe not Alana LOL). What other choice is there?

Each and every one of us has the right to free speech and assembly - not just people who agree with you. Dissenting voices are the very basis of what I was taught is most valuable to Americans. That's why Nazis can march and give speeches even though a generation of American men sacrificed their lives 60 years ago fighting the very ideas Nazis purport today.

and have you ever questioned why both groups were given permits on the same day blocks apart? and why the police were told to stand down?? the fricking mayor should be blamed. both are hate groups. whoever gave those 2 permits on the same day should be fired for inciting violence.

I was outraged and disgusted
I'm not a fan of Farrakhan.
Never was, never will be.

BTW, the protesters against the disgusting Nazi display which ended a peaceful protester's life and many injuries in Charlottesville did have a permit.

However, it seems to me that many do not understand exactly who and what trump is, even when he has shown his character or rather, lack thereof, throughout his history.
Where is the outrage with his daily and constant Bullshit LIES?

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/media-working-overtime-to-prove-trump-is-a-racist/article/2631916

Only Al Sharpton got close in that story, and Sharpton this week made a point of not declaring Trump to be a racist.

On MSNBC Monday, branding expert Donny Deutsch said Trump "is a racist." He then pressed Sharpton to agree, accused Sharpton of "dancing around it," and asked if Sharpton could "say he is a racist."

"I don't want to put him on a couch and deal with his psychological personal problems," Sharpton said. "I'm dealing with his public policies."

A frustrated Deutsch then goaded Sharpton on by saying, "you can't say that the president is a racist."

Sharpton replied again, "We're talking about the president and his policies."

even the race baiter sharpton cant say trump is a racist

So let me be clear - I don't have any idea what you mean by "leftist" or "brownshirt" or "liberal" or "straw man." Since others jump on the band wagon and appear to understand - then these terms have to be codified with special meaning and context for a few.

I am asking a real question - what do these terms mean to you specifically?

The list posted above by rosesisland, I'm sure is just a small portion of what is known by the poster. People from Arkansas know lots of information, most are in disbelief of what they got away with, they took their criminal empire to the federal level and so far continue to get away with it.

In a blistering public letter, the remaining members of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities (PCAH) resigned. I’ve re-typed the letter here for easier reading, but you can see the original letter below. It’s a work of resistance art:

Dear Mr. President:

Reproach and censure in the strongest possible terms are necessary following your support of the hate groups and terrorists who killed and injured fellow Americans in Charlottesville. The false equivalences you push cannot stand. The Administrations refusal to quickly and unequivocally condemn the cancer of hatred only further emboldens those who wish America ill. We cannot sit idly by, the way your West Wing advisors have, without speaking out against your words and actions. We are members of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities (PCAH). The Committee was created in 1982 under President Ronald Reagan to advise the White House on cultural issues. We were hopeful that continuing to serve in the PCAH would allow us to focus on the important work the committee does with your federal partners and the private sector to address, initiate, and support key policies and programs in the arts and humanities for all Americans. Effective immediately, please accept our resignation from the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

Elevating any group that threatens and discriminates on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, disability, orientation, background, or identity is un-American. We have fought slavery, segregation, and internment. We must learn from our rich and painful history. The unified fabric of America is made by patriotic individuals from backgrounds as vast as the nation is strong. In our service to the American people, we have experienced this first-hand as we traveled and build the Turnaround Arts education program, now in many urban and rural schools across the country from Florida to Wisconsin.

Speaking truth to power is never easy, Mr. President. But it is our role as commissioners on the PCAH to do so. Art is about inclusion. The Humanities include a vibrant free press. You have attacked both. You released a budget which eliminates arts and culture agencies. You have threatened nuclear war while gutting diplomacy funding. The administration pulled out of the Paris agreement, filed an amicus brief undermining the Civil Rights Action, and attacked our brave trans service members. You have subverted equal protections, and are committed to banning Muslims and refugee women & children from our great country. This does not unify the nation we love. We know the importance of open and free dialogue through our work in the cultural diplomacy realm, most recently with the first-ever US Government arts and cultural delegation to Cuba, a country without the same First Amendment protections we enjoy here. Your words and actions push us all further away from the freedoms we are guaranteed.

Ignoring your hateful rhetoric would have made us complicit in your words and actions. We took a patriotic oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Supremacy, discrimination, and vitriol are not American values. Your values are not American values. We must be better than this. We are better than this. If this is not clear to you, then we call on you to resign your office, too.

Thank you,

Ranking Member Cohen to Introduce Articles of Impeachment Against President Donald Trump After Comments on Charlottesville

Ranking Member Cohen to Introduce Articles of Impeachment Against President Donald Trump After Comments on Charlottesville

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] — Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice, today announced that he will be introducing articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump following the President’s comments on the horrific events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“I have expressed great concerns about President Trump’s ability to lead our country in the Resolution of No Confidence (H.Res. 456) that I introduced in July with 29 of my colleagues; however, after the President’s comments on Saturday, August 12 and again on Tuesday, August 15 in response to the horrific events in Charlottesville, I believe the President should be impeached and removed from office. Instead of unequivocally condemning hateful actions by neo-Nazis, white nationalists and Klansmen following a national tragedy, the President said ‘there were very fine people on both sides.’ There are no good Nazis. There are no good Klansmen.”

“We fought a World War to defeat Nazis, and a Civil War to defeat the Confederacy. In reaction to the downfall of the Confederacy, and the subsequent passage of the Reconstruction Amendments to our constitution, the KKK embarked on a dastardly campaign to terrorize and intimidate African Americans from exercising their newly acquired civil rights. Subsequent incarnations of the Klan continued to terrorize African Americans with lynchings and civil rights murders such as the assassination of Medgar Evers and the killings of Schwerner, Chaney, Goodman and other civil rights workers.”

“When I watched the videos from the protests in Charlottesville, it reminded me of the videos I’ve seen of Kristallnacht in 1938 in Nazi Germany. It appeared that the Charlottesville protesters were chanting ‘Jews will not replace us’ and ‘blood and soil,’ an infamous Nazi slogan, as they marched with torches that conjured up images of Klan rallies. None of the marchers spewing such verbiage could be considered ‘very fine people’ as the President suggested. And it certainly appeared the participants were in lock-step. Some of the white nationalist protesters were interviewed by the media, such as Sean Patrick Nielsen. He said one of his three reasons for being there was ‘killing Jews.’ Another was Christopher Cantwell, one of the white nationalist leaders, who said he couldn’t watch ‘that Kushner bastard walk around with that beautiful girl’ and said he hoped ‘somebody like Donald Trump, but who does not give his daughter to a Jew,’ would lead this country. As a Jew and as an American and as a representative of an African American district, I am revolted by the fact that the President of the United States couldn’t stand up and unequivocally condemn Nazis who want to kill Jews and whose predecessors murdered 6 million Jews during the Holocaust, and could not unequivocally condemn Klansmen whose organization is dedicated to terrorizing African Americans.

“President Trump has failed the presidential test of moral leadership. No moral president would ever shy away from outright condemning hate, intolerance and bigotry. No moral president would ever question the values of Americans protesting in opposition of such actions, one of whom was murdered by one of the white nationalists. Senator John McCain rightfully tweeted this week that there was ‘no moral equivalency between racists and Americans standing up to defy hate.’ Senator Marco Rubio tweeted, “Very important for the nation to hear @potus describe events in #Charlottesville for what they are, a terror attack by #whitesupremacists.” President Trump has shown time and time again that he lacks the ethical and moral rectitude to be President of the United States. Not only has he potentially obstructed justice and potentially violated the Constitution’s Foreign Emoluments Clause, but he has also shown that he is incapable or unwilling to protect Americans from enemies, foreign and domestic. Neo-Nazis and the KKK are domestic terrorists. If the President can’t recognize the difference between these domestic terrorists and the people who oppose their anti-American attitudes, then he cannot defend us.”

Martin Niemöller, a prominent Protestant pastor who was an outspoken critic of Adolph Hitler, said:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

“They have come for me, and for the majority of my Congressional constituency. Accordingly, I must speak out today after what happened on Saturday and our President’s subsequent response. It is morally and legally incumbent upon me, based on my oath of office, to introduce articles of impeachment.”

Snopes?

At the end of the day, it is clear that before we rush to place fact checking organizations like Snopes in charge of arbitrating what is “truth” on Facebook, we need to have a lot more understanding of how they function internally and much greater transparency into their work.

Its amazing how people will accept a source unquestioningly when they agree with what they write. And howl that sources they don't agree with are biased and "fake".

In a blistering public letter, the remaining members of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities (PCAH) resigned. I’ve re-typed the letter here for easier reading, but you can see the original letter below. It’s a work of resistance art:

Dear Mr. President:

Reproach and censure in the strongest possible terms are necessary following your support of the hate groups

Another group of misinformed snowflakes...
