Where is my beloved NPR?

From last Sunday NPR is off the air replaced by a commercial station with more mindless and unnecessary music. NPR has been like a breath of "fresh air" amidst a slew of broadcast spam elsewhere. Serious talk, debate, news and culture which you can not find anywhere else in the territory. Maybe we aren't adult enough here for such fare. And no commercials!

Does anyone have the scoop on why and how this disaster has befallen us?

Dan
