Air Conditioner $200
This is an LG Energy Saver 1,500 BTU Air Conditioner. It works with a regular 120v plug (the type in all apartments and houses). It was bought at Home Depot about 2 years ago for $400. It has seen 1 year of intermittent use, and I have had it in storage for 1 year. It works well. It pumps enough cold air to cool quite a few square feet (certainly more than one room if the doors are open).

You sure that's not 15,000 BTUs? 1500 I have never heard of, the tiniest have been 7000 or 8000 that I have ever seen before.
