Hey guys, this message board has helped me out alot and Im hoping it will continue to do so, especially on this toughie... I took a travel nursing position at the hospital, and contrary to popular belief we really dont make much on the island, compared to what were used to in the states, and the cost of living is, as you all know, outrageous here. Im looking for a cheap island car... yea I know there's no such thing- but if anyone has any extra vehicles they'd be willing to rent out for a few months (like $400/mos?) or sell for fairly cheap ($1500?)... we are spending every last dime we have on a rental car, but we have to have one (I alternate days and nights, dont feel safe using public trans, etc).
