Hey! I'm in the same situation as you- but i'm moving down in mid may- and i'm graduating from Queens University in charlotte.....what i've found best is this board, and to google/yahoo "long term rentals" which over there means 3+ months....

Kristin - I replied to your post on the Visitor's forum and suggested you post here. But, as I said, do research this forum properly as your question has been answered many times over along with many suggestions on short-term accomodation which you can arrange before moving to STJ. Once you have reached STJ you can start looking for an apartment but there are very few landlords (if any) who will rent to you from off-island for many reasons.

Cheers,

Thanks a lot. Do you have a job on the island yet? I am curious to know what you are doing to prepare for the move and also answer any questions you may have as well.
