Good morning/day/afternoon/evening! My husband just got transferred to STX, and we are looking to move in sometime between August and October. We have two dogs, both well-behaved, they have lived with us in rentals for years; we can provide references. This will be a long-term rental, at least two years. We have no children, we are in our thirties, and we don't smoke. Any leads would be appreciated, I have been reading the forums for a while (this transfer has been long awaited!), and know how helpful everyone is here! Thanks!

Hi EandE,
I have a small apartment complex on STX. The only vacancy I am sure of, at this time, is a very large two bedroom-two bath available starting July 1. I expect I will have other vacancies in the August to October time frame. You can check out my website. There are some pictures, and be sure to go to the FAQ's page. Rents, pet policy, etc., etc. are answered there. Please call, PM, email with any questions. The website address is: http://www.virginislandsrentals.com. My contact info is all there.

Thanks for looking.
Juanita

Hello Juanita,

Thank you so much for your response. We looked at the pics on your link, and it looks beautiful! We just got the news of the transfer two days ago, so we are only now beginning the planning of a house hunting trip. Hopefully we will have set the dates for our pre visit within a week or so. I will contact you about seeing what will be available when I have more concrete dates for you. We would be most interested in one of the large two bedroom units, if there is one still available of course.

Thank you again,
EandE

Hello there. I am involved with properties both under the Calabash Real Estate Property Management and through private individuals (as I have been helping people to connect for years). Could you please PM me with things like what you optimally would want, price range, etc. I know of about 80 properties, many of them occupied, but I do have some available now, and some coming available very soon.

Thanks so very much,

Dan

Hi EandE,
I was just wondering something. Is your husband's transfer definite? Are you planning a PMV to decide if you want to move here, or is it just to look for a place to live? I don't know about beachy, but Daniel and I both offer short term housing, or "relocation" housing. My point being....if you are definitely moving here within the next 3 months, you could rent from one of us on a temporary basis, while you look for a permanent place. Save all the money of a PMV. But then if his company is paying for the PMV...or you just want to visit, that's different. Just a thought.

I have a couple of pet-friendly rental houses available within that time frame. One center island and one east end. For more details, please email me at stcroixhomes@hotmail.com and I can provide photos as well as rental rates and other information about the properties. Best of luck with your move!
