Hello. I'm looking for a scooter to buy. I'm moving to STX in 2 weeks. Does the island have a store that sells scooters? Or will I just have to try and find one from somebody? I heard STT has a scooter store... anybody have a clue what it cost to get one from there to Croix?

Try shipping from STT to STX on the Norma H. cargo ferry. Probably cost you around 100 bucks or less.

Autoworld (nissan dealer) sells scooters and motorcycles. If you don't ride stateside, please at least take a class there.

I saw that Cost U Less on StX had one scooter model for sale for $899 if I recall correctly. I'd say move here and see how traffic works, you may change your mind 🙂

I have a scooter for sale on this forum and I can tell you that shipping one from STT is more of a hastle then getting one here, and I am not being biased. Honestly. Auto World has these things that they call scooters but they are $9,000 and have 450cc engines. I looked into buying one there too. They weigh 400lbs and are not scooter as far as I am concerned. I also bought the one at Cost U less which is only a 50cc engine and could not go more than 30mph and up a hill they topped off at 15mph. They are not safe. Look into buying a used one with atleast 125cc engine.
