Is there Social Security & Medicare on the USVI just like the states, since it is a US territory?

Thanks, ALL for your info on this board!
Matt.

Medicare is the same, although you don't have a choice of programs like they have in the states. Social Security is the same, except that you can't get one of the "extra" ones, either SSI or SSD, I can't remember which.
