When I am in the Great Lakes area, I am a beer girl, but when in the Caribbean, it's rum all the way.
Speaking of rum ... any tips on where I can find Ron Zacapa on STX? Preferably the XO, but I'd be okay with the 23 Solera.

Maybe it's the same chopper that annoyed the hell out of everyone at the July Jump-up. Couldn't even hear the performers. Totally ridiculous. I meant send out some complaints but forgot about it (computer took a dump that week). I should go ahead and do it now.
Landlord says they scope the F'sted hills at least once a year and spend hours just circling and scouring the land, evidently, for cannabis patches that people grow in old cisterns so you can't see what's in 'em from the road (clever tip!). But, yeah. It went on and on and on and on and on and on and it was LOUD. And, no lie, they buzzed by house by between 100' and 200' MANY TIMES. MAYBE they were screwing with me and MAYBE I shouldn't have flipped them off, but, you know, a couple of passes would have been fine. ALL AFTERNOON? Really not necessary.
Still don't know who they were. About the same time they were harassing my house, I saw a couple of Sikorsky Black Hawks (color and markings not discernible) fly off north along the west end coastline. Don't know if that was somehow connected.
I should know my helicopters better. I have a friend who used to fly Marine One.

There were two dark choppers that cruised in formation from north shore across salt river and up by judith's fancy around 4:30ish Tuesday. Didn't look like the usual drug search chopper.

The choppers you saw were, I suspect, the same Black Hawks I saw flying along the F'sted coastline going north around that time. I think those are the stateside NG guys who are down here.
The guys buzzing my house and terrifying the dogs were NOT these guys. It was a cheapie looking battered 'copter with no markings, the make of which I did not recognize.

2 black copters flew by northside STT, late yersterday afternoon.
Too far away to see any markings or lettering but they just kept going, no buzzing or searching pattern.
I believe those are the National Guard guys doing training exercises. NOT the cannabis freakazoids. Did they look like Black Hawks? Its a pretty distinguishable shape, even if you can't see markings or lettering.
