What is the current status of the far West End of St. Thomas? Who owns the land? How is it zoned? How easy is the access to the beaches in the area?

I see that this villa went up about a year ago:

Here’s an article by St. Croix ecologist Olasee Davis, who was born and raised on St. Thomas, about a controversial proposal of a couple of years ago:

Here’s an aerial shot:

By the way, if you go to the main page for the aerial shots of the V.I., you can see the highest mountain on St. Thomas, called Cown Mountain (sic), and there’s a fishing village called French Tour (sic). On Tortola, there is apparently a place called the Road Tour Marinas (sic). Do they drive boats on the streets of Tortola?

FOG: Look at the Virgin Islands Daily News for Friday 12/3. Big front page article on Botany Bay! As you know zoning is not a concept in the Virgin Islands.;-(
Ha, ha on the spelling errors!!

EE,

That's exactly the sort of article I was afraid I would see. I missed it because I usually just read the St. Croix Avis. St. Trauma...
