Hi All!

Like many other posts I've read here, I am doing the research for a move to the VI. My current situation is: I am an engaged 25 year old web designer and freelance photographer located in North Carolina. My fiance and I will be tying the knot in May of 2015 and have decided we'd like to relocated to the Virgin Islands sometime in 2016. We're not in a huge rush, but it is something we're sure of and figured the sooner we start planning and preparing, the better.

I have always loved the Caribbean, my mom took me down for the first time when I was about 13, and I've been to 15+ different islands since then. I visited St. John once and took my fiance to St. Thomas for my second time (his first) last year. We haven't fully decided on which island, but we're thinking STT is probably close to our speed.

I always keep my eyes open on numerous websites for graphic and web design related job postings, but I really haven't seen much - so that's kind of concerned me. In the states, I also do live music photography have recently got into wedding photography and portraits. I have a decent sized clientele built up around the area, and I've started trying to gear my portfolio towards beach and destination weddings. Do either of these specializations (or perhaps the combination of them) have much of a market down there/does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not so much worried about my fiance, as he has 10+ years of bartending and service industry experience, and I've heard that those are typically in demand since they're tourist related.

Any other suggestions/tips/things to look into are more than welcome and muchly appreciated! I look forward to chatting with you all!
