There is a place across the street that i may move into. I inquire about this, because where im from, Parks and their surrounding areas can be real nice, or straight up ghetto.

Brad: It isn't a green grass park, it's a baseball park. Bright lights. 😎

It is a downtown waterfront area and not particularly residential. If you mean across the highway in Frenchtown that is different.

No, I think it's the small guest house to the right of the ball park behaind the Holiday Inn. I have had to rescue someone there once that had to get out of there!

I am a Gay, White, Male 56 years old. I am planning to finally make my move to Saint Thomas this Spring probably in late April. I heard a lot of nice things about the US Virgin Islands and met a few nice people there. But how Gay tolerant is Saint Thomas and how out can I be without offending sensibilities. I am not a flaming queen but when people ask I tend to change the subject feeling that it is nobodies business.

I think it's very gay tolerant. There are better places to stay than the one Ronnie mentioned. Have you been here before? If not, you might want to do a pre-move visit to check it out & see if STT is for you.

To Brad,

This is an excellent example of why we urge pre move visits. You are thinking park when this is really a ball field. At the very least, do not commit $$ until you get here and see the apartment.
