I want to build a fence around my house, consisting mostly of chain link and some decorative mental w/ gates.

Suggestions?

Isn't that the truth.

CADreamers, a few years ago I was in a similar situation and got a couple of quotes from professional fencing companies on STT but they were VERY expensive. Happened to be in Home Depot one day looking at the fencing materials. One of the older gentlemen came over to see if I needed any help and we got chatting about the project. I mentioned I was having a hard time finding someone who would do the job at a reasonable price and he put me in touch with a very nice gentleman who, along with a helper, got the job done for me at a fraction of the cost the "professionals" were asking. They ran into some problems with some rock hard ground in places but stuck to the agreed-upon price and did a great job. Worth looking into. Good luck!

For sure some decorated ones as well! Most of the suppliers of these products do have names of qualified installers if you ask. Also help to state which island.
