A friend of mine found 2 Doberman pups that he feels were dumped at his South Shore STX home. He's known for his big heart for strays so maybe they felt it was better than the shelter. He descibes them as about 8 weeks old, one female and one male. Blacky and Cinderella he's calling them. He already has several dogs so,................ Free to good home.
PM me if interested and I can give him your number.

I'll see if he can send me some pics. If so I'll post them.

There is an ad in the Sunday/Monday AVIS for Doberman pups; maybe these are his and were stolen and dumped. Couldn't hurt to call.

Don't have that Avis Do you have the Ph #?
I have a few people interested already but would like to call these people first to ensure they weren't stolen and dumped.

Spoke to the Dobie breeder and he is off island. He said a friend is watching his place and yesterday everything was OK.
He's going to call his friend but doubts these are his.

I'm sure they'll find a good home; we have lost 3 of our dogs in the past 2 months, but have also picked up a few more, or we would take them .

Don't get their ears cropped or their tales docked! They're so cute with both. Look like totally different dogs. Glad you have some more additions to the family, Tam. Those dogs lucked out.

I knew 2 wonderful cruzan black labs named Mocko and Jumbie, it will be nice to carry on those names.

Enjoy your new pups--and watch you shoes......

Don't you think you ought to advertise them as found first. People's dogs do get away sometime.

If dogs are lost, the owner should be responsible enough --and care enough--to notify the shelter, vets and perhaps run an ad in the Avis.

I am sorry, but I didn't see where they contacted the shelter or vets. I may have missed it.

You are right Ronnie. I think the man who has them knows that they were abandoned but I don't mind at all advertising them as found. I will call the shelter and check with the vets to see if anyone is looking for them.

I agree. It's probably better to err on the side of caution and run an ad. That breed usually has distinctive markings. Don't publish them. If anyone claims the dogs, just ask them to identify them. An owner will know his puppies!

That's awesome Tam!!!
I wouldn't worry about someone coming forward. The location where these pups were found is pretty remote and I doubt they were the neighbor's escape's.
If they did escape I hope your fence will contain them. I feel they found a wonderful home from what you told me yesterday!!

Can't wait to see them!

Tails and ears?? Crop or not? Your choice. I have seen both that I like. They are Dobies after all. Or are they? I was just going on description. LOL:D

We named 2 cats Mango and Limin'
Lucy and Ricky? NO
Fred and Ethel? NO
Tiki and Tavi? NO
Mocko and Jumbie????

Dobies need regal names. IMHO Duke and Dutchess??
How about Bill and Hillary?? LOL

I would name them after seeing their personalty. I wish I had named a few of mine Knucklehead!! Actually they fit that name and ALL answer to that.:-)

I have no idea when they do that? Don't think you would wait too long would you? If you choose to.
Dobie owners? What's the scoop?
