gags: Maybe if you consolidate your questions in one post, it would be easier for folks to address them? If your company wants to transfer you, are they helping with the move? Are there fellow employees on whom you can depend for assistance?

$1500 a month, without any other income is not sufficient to live in the VI. $1500 every 2 weeks might get you by. $1500 a week and you're good to go.

More research and a pre move visit is in order,

Gags. one mpre time you are not answering the question or giving enough information. $1500 salary for what time period of time? A week? Two weeks? A month? Now you say two of you. I wonder if you are sincere in your questions? Taxes are based on the amount of income plus a few other variables. This can't be answered that easily especially not knowing how long your pay period will be. Around here pay periods vary.
