well said, limetime2. I just wonder sometimes whether it ever gets too late to teach compassion and empathy to those who have never been taught that or don't understand the concept, even with children

I have better things to do than this. You originally said that you identified me as a troll and you were going to leave me alone. Now you are calling me a fake.

Maybe you should post in English to show the rest of board your true colors. Also, it is either Stutzman or Stutzmann, NOT Stutzam.

No i would not have supported the Bengals, Pats or now the Eagles. When i feel like i have wronged by someone, which michael did to all those poor dogs i can and WILL not support or watch a team he is on.

I dont think we know the half of what he did. Put yourself in those poor dogs place. the fear and terror they must have felt.
And to know that he supported it. I think he is now trying to fool the public again.

I will not forget nor forgive what he did. everytime i look at my two little cruzan dogs (or any dog for that matter) i see the love and trust in their eyes and know that those pit bulls somewhere in those big eyes had some love for someone.

IT STILL MAKES ME SO SICK!!!!!

Dan Your German Stinks!
I said " You have been identified as a troll, Why don't you give it a rest for awhile" Your answer " Petty much" I then said "it is obvious you don't read German, you have no clue as to what I said, you're either funny or a phony." Edward said "they can be mutually" My answer to Edward "True, but i think the later".

Maybe a trip to the fatherland would help with your German. Or take a little more time with that English/German dictionary, or was that the Kiwi version. "ROTFLMAO"

Dixie... At least there is a silver-lining to this. Before Vick, this rarely recieved any media attention. It was much like cock-fighting; relegated to only the slums and the most deviant of our society. After Vick it was brought to the attention of everybody and now with him getting a second chance in the NFL, it is becoming even more noted. I'm not saying it is going to change the world but at least it is a good start.

Not only did he starve the dogs & put them in a ring to fight another dog, but the ones that didn't *ahem* preform........they were killed with MV's bare hands!................sledge hammered............grab the poor dog by his rear legs & swig them up in the air & then down crushing their poor little skulls on the pavement. Not just once, but many many times..............he is SICK UNFORGIVABLY SICK! The NFL should have ignored this empty lump of flesh! But if they the NFL wants to give the man another chance....they can, I mean the NFL stands for the National Felons League. They the NFL continue to glorify men who continually get into trouble, rape women, kill innocent animals, do hard drugs, multi DUI's........the list goes on & on. We have been taught since children that the sports stars are super heroes & NO matter what they do, they are still worshiped! They are role models........and now MV shows the world it's OK to kill animals! Hell if you cry some crock tears on TV all is forgiven........here's your multi million dollar job back & do a couple service announcements of do as I say not as I do BS & all will be forgiven...............may he spend the here after in a burning misery ...........

Actually I understand exactly what you said. You are petty. You felt the need to try and prove something that wasn't there out of what... spite?

It's a shame that I have recieved to date 14 PM's, all apologizing for your actions. Maybe you need a visit to "Der Vaterland" to learn a lesson in manners.

I try very hard never to judge anyone. What is acceptable to one is not acceptable to others. I do believe that many people can be and are rehabilitated to go on and live good lives. In my mind any "adult" that kills or molests a defenseless animal or child cannot be rehabilitated. They are evil pure and simple. If MV goes on to give lectures to children and young adults to bring about change against dog fighting and his star status gets young people to listen to him. Great. Maybe the would be future dog fighters will not go down that same path. For me, I would never want to meet MV and would steer clear of any and all of his activities. I don't know MV mind or heart and have no clue if he feels remorse.

While there are some unsavory characters in the NFL, I wouldn't go as fas to label the entire league as degenerates. I know a lot of prefessional athletes that are just like you and I... the only difference that they play a game whereas some of us work in an office.

Also, the NFLPA almost single-handedly saved the Boys & Girls of America association. The Union through it's players gives back a ton to their respective communities through community works and charities. I have worked with extensively with the Donovan McNabb Foundation over the years when I worked for the Eagles and that charity has done a phenomenal job in fund-raising and awareness. Most of the players do this, some for tax reasons, others because they realized that they are in a unique position to give back to the community.

Don't let a small percentage of thugs ruin the work of a very charitable organization.

Dan I could argue with you indefinitely about this subject, but will not. You have your opinion & I have mine.
The NFL may have many redeeming qualities, they still harbor criminals & condone their behavior paying them handsomely to boot.

Fair enough.

islandtyme i totally totally agree with you. He didnt serve enough time for the illegal gambling and cruelty to animals charge. and now can play football. will he be paid? and is he still doing community service or will that stop when he is to busy playing a game he loves.

I saw a commerical on tv with a guy who is probably a football player talking about the cruelty of dog fighting. who was he??? i only saw it once. maybe if MV did ALOT of commericals like that at prime time events kids would get the picture. (one can hope)

If the patriots had signed him all my n.e. patriot stuff would be trashed.

Who would have thought someone living in Philly, might actually have worked for the Philadelphia Eagles. I mean all they are is a 1,000+ employee corporation with all types of departments. They have offices for these office workers too. It's really amazing how it all works. If you didn't know better, it would appear that there is a business and a business model behind all of this.

I mean you can't be so daft to think that the product just magically comes about did you? It's obvious to everybody that outside the attitude, you aren't that intelligent, but really I never thought you were that thick.

I think we kinda MOD ourselves unless it gets too bad. lol. Sometimes this sandbox gets a little too rough for me so I go play somewhere else.

Lizard, as scaly as he is, also part frankenstein, held together with bits and parts, is in no way unintelligent though. 😀
