There was a double decker red british bus that used to run here on STT -- it is now parked across from Tortola Wharf on the waterfront and is the focal point of a popular bar aptly named "Percy's Bus Stop"

It is still on the island. Parked across the street from Public Works.

Geeze, my reading comprehension is going down the tubes quickly. On the first page of this thread I was thinking of trailers, not the drivable kind of motor homes. :S

I am smiling reading this thread.....I can only imagine how much it would cost to keep a motorhome cooled to being tolerable 24/7. At least in a home you can oipen doors and windows wide but a motorhome is like an easy bake oven....

true, but it does have LOTS of windows and a generator will run fans. If we sit in the shade at the beach during the day it might work. The mold and mildew may be a problem but clorox washes would help. i don't know if we'll actually bring it over or not.

i think there are rules and regs about living in a motorhome on the islands, even if it is on your own land. you might want to check with zoning ordinances and such, about under what circumstances you can do that. and for how long.
