Just checking out reputable shipping company to ship some stuff. Not furniture. Things like pictures, china, linens, etc. Anybody have any information? We're moving in August 2007.

I, too, moved from Michigan...over 9 years ago...Where ya coming from? I lived in Lake Orion. Do you really need your china? And your pics...you may want to ship them without frames and glass...saves on weight and they won't get broken...Linens...we have K-mart on STT. I say these things because you may find that you want to save shipping your entire houshold's 'stuff'' until AFTER you've been on island for a coupla months...really get a chance to see what you need, ya know? "Minimalism" is very popular once you live in the islands! Haha! JMHO, of course...

Are you just shipping the stuff you mentioned? I mean if you got 4 or 5 boxes of stuff shipping it ups or usps will be much much cheaper.
