I am seeking networking opportunities (i.e. organizations, events, etc.) which will be at least somewhat fun and provide a good return on my investment of time, money, energy, etc. I know of a few organizations - rotary, chamber, 10000 helpers, etc. - but I am wondering if anyone knows which ones are the best OR if there are any I should avoid? I enjoy volunteering and organizing, putting events together, and social networking.
Thanks! And happy 2010 (a little disappointing that we still aren't hovering anywhere . . . but I'll take it)!!!

I guess that depends on what you want to get out of the group. what line of work are you in, or want to be in?
