A refreshing new grocery store in Lockhart Gardens Shopping Center, fresh fruits and veggies. It's called Four Seasons. East Ender, you should check it out as you are the grocery store maven.

I was there on Monday. I was disappointed. I think more b/c my hopes were SO high. Oh well, I guess I still have to go to Natural Foods, Fruit Bowl, Cost-u-Less and Plaza to get my week's worth of groceries.

I went there yesterday. It has potential. They weren't completely stocked and ready. Many items didn't have prices displayed. In general, the prices were high compared to the same items at other stores.

On the plus side-- good location, nice and clean, well-lit, good selection of interesting pantry items (although not any broader a selection that Gourmet Gallery), meats that didn't look like you'd get food poisoning.

Content-wise, it is on par with Gourmet Gallery, hopefully with more/fresher produce and definitely with better/more meats. I'm gonna cook up a fine looking rib eye steak today.
