Shouldn't that be "All I know"? Must not be an English teacher.

It used to take longer than that for their NOPA to get through. Stupid system.

Until the NOPA gets signed, you will not be paid. Yes, it will be paid....eventually, but you'll have to be patient. We started teaching last August and didn't receive our first paycheck until nearly November. And, I'm waiting for A LOT of money from last year's additional activities that I was told I'd be paid for. A coworker of mine was excited, as she was finally paid for an after school program she was a part of - TWO YEARS AGO!

Good luck! (By the way - have we met? I'm at Ricardo Richards.)

Spelling aside, this is a(nother) disgrace if true...why would it take them 6-8 weeks to get their first paycheck?

And seriously, 2 years for work performed? That is insane. Not surprising but insane.

This is normal for all new Government employees. And when they retire I think they don't get their first retirement check for about 4 months after.
