Palms at Pelican Cove - bad meal/bad service

Just returned from dinner at Palms at Pelican Cove. Two guests ordered the steak. Horrible piece of $25 tasteless fat and grisle. Another ordered fish & chips which arrived after everyone else had finished their dinner. Table of 5 but they weren't busy. We asked to speak to the manager and we were told there was no manager on duty. We won't be back.

If you want a steak on Sundays, head to Frederickstead. You will find a very large steak or two at Coconuts, cooked the way you order it.

We've had several breakfasts and lunches there and the food and service were both great. I wonder if there's a different manager on duty for evening? We were wanting to try dinner this year, but are hesitating now after hearing bad reviews here and on Tripadvisor. I would definitely recommend breakfast or lunch, though. Great service, great food, and that wonderful view. Wish I was there now.

I had breakfast there yesterday with a group of four... everything was excellent and that includes the service. The place was packed and still service was great and timely.

I had lunch there about a week ago with two friends and we shared three dishes... the food was great, the service was OK (took a while to get our drinks and the place was not packed). I thought the value was really good too.

I haven't had dinner there in awhile, so can't speak to that.

One thing for sure, it is beautiful! I'll be going back.
