Red Hook gossip?

I thought the sign was wonderful . ... it says NO PARKING. Maybe that is the name of it?

I was told that it is another Mojos....give Duffys a run for their money?

The gas station at AYH?? That would be an interesting bar - no parking, on a really busy street, plenty of exhuast and road noise, a dumpster on both sides currently plus their own , yes a nice quiet place to enjoy the island traffic.

Uh-oh. More people getting hit crossing the road. Any news on speed bumps being put in? I haven't been in Mojo's because it looks hot during the day where it's positioned.

They have a misting system at Mojos's to keep you cool. I have heard about the new place in RH but have forgotten.

I guess I need a trip to STT. What/where is Mojo's? Didn't know the gas station was "old", and what's up with Off the Hook space not being Off the Hook? I really need to get over there!!!

Mojo's is across from Buccaneer Mall right at the entrance to Port of Sale mall.

Rumors I hear is that the Off the Hook space is going to turn into shops.

Rumor has it to ba a bar, just like Mojo's, maybe even the same owners? Also heard of it being a smoothie bar? Again, who knows? Will keep asking.

Mojo's looks like it would be stiffling hot but it is pleasant in there!! Great happy hour wing specials!! Just an FYI for you, Trade, in case you want to try it out!

The food sure smells good when I pass by there. Thanks for the heads up, Pilatesgal. I didn't know about the misting thing either. The owners of the Port of Sale bar who had the parking lot space tried to get space in Buccaneer Mall's parking lot to compete but I heard that didn't go through.

Juanita: This is the old gas station that hasn't been a gas station for donkey years- on the AYH side of the road. Off the Hook closed in May (?) or so. I also had heard it was to be shops. It is SUCH a perfect place for a restaurant.

I met the couple who is opening the place at the Tattoo Artist Exhibition at Seven minus Seven over the weekend. I can't for the life of me remember what it is - I think Ronnie has it right though. Nice couple.

Off the hook was set to be redone and another resturant was to open up, when or if they found one.
