It could be difficult as a police officer but they could put you undercover right away to do some work. There are several security companies and companies that have in house security. It's possible, not easy.

You could try applying for security at the large hotels/resorts.

Hmmm.....my suggestion of "Female Superior" doesn't quite answer this now, the way I thought it would when I read the Thread Subject.....

Haha! Please excuse my sense of humor...or lack thereof! Haha!

I know of at least one officer on St. Thomas that was a cop in America before he came here...and he's white...so it can be done...I guess you just need 2 contact HR at the PD here in d VI...

Trade-

Think of the term 'position' as in 'sexual position'...'Female Superior' would mean that the lady is on top......, I know! Bad attempt at humor! haha!

I am currently a police officer in the state of Alabama. I have been in contact with a gentleman that works as a recruiter with the Police Department. I have recently turned in my application for a lateral transfer to the USVI Police Department. I was told they are planning on having a lateral transfer class in the next month or so. It would be a very good idea to call or e-mail someone with the department to let them know you are interested. They are pushing applications through as quickly as they can to start the class, so I would make sure it's turned in ASAP.
