Naw, bribes are under the table & are considered tax-free unless you get caught sort of like a few taxi drivers who only make $10K a year. 🙂 Maybe I'll just become queen. I think empresses might have too much to do. I will say, my first official duty will be to declare MANDATORY non-work holidays for those who don't work for the government so the gov't workers will see how it feels to slog off to work while the rest of us get to loaf.

Although I ,m east of Gallows Bay I have a vested interest in your Domain. I frequent the area daily and believe Gallows Bay is the nerve center of the island. I support your bold decision and could easily be persuaded ($) to help expedite your cause.
A couple of suggestions for your platform:
1. all beer sold or consumed in Gallows Bay must originate at a temperature of less than 39 degrees F
2 all rum served will be Cruzan Gold.
3. to form a committee to study the environmental impact of filling the giant pot hole at the 4 way stop.

Do you envision your influence extending as far as the lagoon?

Will we need visas to enter your kingdom?

I will talk to the Ghost's as they appear, I will attempt to make sure all beer consumed in our little municipality be the proper Temp. Drink only cruzan rum. I will consider fixing the 4 way stop only after they find my car that a big pot hole swallowed. No visas to enter, only a smile on the face. The Lagoon ( I don't know, it might be to big of an area at this time, might annex it at a later date.

OK, I'll be queen. I think to be Empress I'd have to take over other islands & I'd rather just take bribes on STT. However, feel free to declare as many paid holidays as you wish for your constituents. 🙂

Thanks Lizard. After living on STT for two years we are just going to visit from now on. Although if I win the lottery, I will buy a nice vacation home on STJ or STX. I have not been to STX, but my husband has many times and thinks I would love it there. I dislike STT, but love STJ - so it is a hard imaginary decision on which island to buy a home. Sigh. I will give it lots of thought though!

They did fill the pot holes! I have to believe that the new defacto Mayor had a hand in this. Or it could have been that the Govt. is trying to suppress our cause and appease the masses.
I am pleased to report that the Welcome store across from the ballpark is in full compliance with the cold beer law, mui frieo cervasa.
With the pot hole situation temporally under control I look to the Mayor for direction in choosing our next cause.

I will attempt to push the Port Authority to move to a new location, so they can start on the Boardwalk continuation from town (Christiansted) to Gallows Bay. This project is already funded, but by the time they start it wont be enough. I guess I'll have to call the Governor for lunch.
