Some older, well established associates of mine from the states are coming to the islands for the week of Nov 17th - November 23rd. They had originally booked the stay in a villa on STX that was apparently devastated by the latest hurricane wave and the owner just found out when recent guests came to stay yesterday.

Does anyone know of a nice place on STT that may accomodate them? There will be 6 people total.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Jen

Hi Jen,
I don't have anything to offer as a solution. I am just very interested to know if you are referring to hurricane Dean, which missed us, totally. On which side of STX is the villa? Just curious.

"...was apparently devastated by the latest hurricane wave...T"

What hurricane? I thought Dean et al missed us by quite a bit. I didn't hear that STX had any significant problems.

What was the cause of and nature of the damage to that villa?

We MIGHT have a two bedroom condo available. It at Crystal Cove on sapphire beach so you can lool it up. We will know on October 1. Call us if you are still looking.

Sapphire beach is the best beach on St. Thomas. The condo has two bedrooms and two baths plus a murphy bed so it will sleep 6.

Our number is 908- 832-9567.

Hi Everyone,

I will follow up with the name of the villas this evening when I call my friends. I don't want to get it wrong. The owner of the villas is off island until February and had no idea they were destroyed apparently. More info to come tonight when I can get the facts accurately.

Thanks!
Jen

We really had no kind of storm action to destroy anything here or in St Croix. Sounds strange.

I have a vacation home on Water Island that sleeps up to 8 people but unfortunately, we don't have availability during that timeframe. www.flamingopointusvi.com
Sorry to hear of other property owner's storm impacts. Will be soooooooooo glad to see the end of hurricane season!

UPDATE:

The property on STX that had damage from the storm can be found at thecaribbeanrental.com

It's a beautiful property. However, now my friends can stay on STT and I'll get to see them more! Thanks for all of your suggestions. I passed along the contact info from my PMs and others posted.
