I was just wondering the other day about people you don't see in the news anymore like: Kenneth Mapp, Charles Turnbull, Adelbert Bryan, Dr. Schneider...

I saw Charles Turnbull at the Bistro in Gallows Bay about a year ago or so. Not sure about the rest of them.

Kenn Mapp lives in Florida.

I hope they put him up in The Ritz like St Thomas did.

@Alana33: That's exactly what I have thought. deJongh is the only governor that seems to have stayed put after he left office. I know he wasn't popular with some, but he was a whole lot better than most. The chief executive doesn't want to retire in their home- that's good advertising. LOL

Hi East Ender,

Didn't Dr. Schneider return to medicine after being governor... private practice at least up to several years ago? He's in his early 80's now, and I heard he has some health issues, so maybe retired? Also gathered that he was still on island.

Charles Turnbull, he's on island. See him from time to time. Don't think he ever went back to being a history professor after being governor. He told me last year that he was working on a book on VI history.

Hi, Islander! ?

After he left office, I saw Dr. Schneider and his entourage around frequently, but after he sold his house, not so much. Never ever saw Turnbull around at all. I really figured they did take the money and run...
