I am looking for a Garmin forerunner GPS unit. It is one that you wear on your wrist to track your runs. Does anyone know where to find one on STT? I tried to order it online but no online dealer will ship to the VI.

check with the local boat or marina supplier stores. They have the smaller hand held Garmin units.

I didn't see any garmins on Road Runner. They only seem to have watches. Best Buy will ship it, but they are charging $60 more for it than what everyone else is charging.

check out pcnation.com. I got the forerunner 205 for $160 total - shipping was free. I don't know if they ship to STT, but for the price, you might want to check them out. I love it, by the way.

I've been playing hell trying to order a reasonably priced Garmin eTrex 10 online. Either I can't get it shipped here or the shipping charges more than double the cost. Before I break down and pay full price from a vendor like Best Buy, I'd rather try to find the unit on island and support the local economy. Anyone have any ideas? I looked online at Radio Shack already. I am on STT, btw.

I decided to look one more time on eBay and found one for $75 -- free shipping! I've even recieved a tracking number, so we shall see when it arrives within the next ten days.

I usually have items sent to my son-in-law in Chicago, usually free shipping and he will then send it USPS Priority Mail. Also try West Marine on line. They ship to the islands.
