You get PBS but not St Croix PBS. The 4 local pbs stations are digital and widely available with an antenna. Even try rabbit ears. The signal is very strong.

FOX is now in HD.

That means all the networks are now available in HD if you have HD Dish receivers(tu)

Thanks Sky. Hopefully they will answer my email. Maybe they didn't notice it?

Thanks, Sky, the STT DISH two couldn't answer that question. I get local PBS with an antenna. That won't interfere with DISH? I'm a tv dinosaur.

OTA will not interfere with dish. If your receiver has an OTA input, and you have a separate cable from the OTA antenna, you can hook it into that, and scan for channels. If not hook it straight to the TV and scan. If you want to share the satellite cable with OTA you'll need to diplex at both ends.

CW is in SD on channel 17 according to Dish. Never watch it. Seems full of infomercials.

Parent Teacher Association?
If you mean OTA, Over the Air

Signal issues are minimal. Heavy rains can interupt signal momentarily.

What a difference the new satellite (the one in space not the one attached to my place!) made. The signal would regularly be interrupted during a torrential rain but there's hardly a little blip now. I've got friends with Direct and friends with cable and feel sorry for all of them - DISH is the only way to go!! 😀

Thanks. I don't watch it much either but my wife likes "Hart of Dixie". Found it on Hulu and wants to watch the new season.

Thanks. I did the search thing last week. The show airs on Tuesday. Last Tuesday was election day. Unfortunately the Dish DVR only looks ahead one week on this channel. Since this show was preempted on Tuesday it was not found. I wish my TIVO still worked.

Sky, why is it that the sound is messed up on WVGN NBC's broadcast? They have the background louder than the foreground. I just sent them an email but was wondering if you noticed it as well? Both HD and SD is the same. I check my All American Direct NBC with no audio problems.

Simulcast via PR......They have some tweaking to do.

Seems like the balance is off on their broadcast. They haven't answered my email. Also some distortion, popping noises sometimes. Put all the sound on the left and it reduced the background noise.

Totally off and really, really annoying and distracting!
