FYI the Fos from Puerto Rico did not carry the American League playoff games nor will it be carrying the World Series. If you don't have one of the All American Direct channels you won't be watching the Series on Dish in the VI.

All American Direct carries a true NY and San Fran feed. Dish supplied networks are simulcast via Puerto Rico.
AAD $12.99 mo. for all 4 major networks or $3.49 each if you only require one.

We've noticed many more infomercials on the simulcasts. Similar to local channel 8. Seems to be a budget issue.

Does anyone know when the VI got color? Was it like 1985?

Dude. We barely have passable roads and a consistent power grid, and you want satellite HD?!?

ETA: REMEMBER WHERE YOU ARE!

IT

Stiphy We got color TV in the late 60s.
Iris I don't know what to say when you say things like that. Go back.

Bump. . . .I've been off the Forum for a while so I thought I'd ask. . .Has anyone heard anything more about getting network HD back on DISH ? I have to say now that VI Broadband is delivering a clean and consistent 3+ Mb internet feed (on their $99/mo service) watching things on SLING and NETFLIX from the States has cut down my angst on this -- but that said, I would still like to get the networks in HD....even if I have to pay extra for it like before.......
