Simply put the quality of the service at St. Thomas Cargo has gotten so bad that they seem like they are having $ problems. They use to be great, but now they keep misplacing and losing packages. They no lost a $500 umbrella they received (according to FEDX) on 12 removed link

Today is 2/22/2022 and they still are clueless. They do not follow up, answer the phones in ST. Thomas (at all) or return emails.

I am NO LONGER Recommending St. Thomas Cargo. Consider Tropical, Crowley or one of smaller companies.

Was there a signature for delivery? FedEx has dropped packages at their door after hours, and they get stolen. It happened to a friend, and they take no responsibility.

Sadly, the experience on STX has been exactly the same.

The Miami shipping companies have been in complete chaos for the past several months.

Cargo rarely departs on the next containers after arriving in MIA like it used to and I've had lost cargo or cargo that is weeks late.

Some cargo destined for STX ends up on STT instead, adding to delays.

Local staff always blame it on Miami staff turnover.

Even the postal system is better than these horribly unreliable Miami based shippers.

@vicanuck  yep, it used to come the following monday/tuesday if it arrived by Wednesday the previous week.  Now it's guaranteed an extra week.  They forgot to ship my 2nd pallet of tile this past week, so it's holding the job, hopefully it'll be here next week, but I'm thinking two weeks.

@daveb722

Its been brutal for me trying to run a business using these cargo services.

They used to be so reliable and cost effective.

I've gone back to the postal system for almost anything I can now.

Such a massive disappointment for regular customers who relied on their service.
