Any first hand accounts about VF? Is it safe, nice? I've looked at the website but would like an opinion of someone who has actually stayed there. I think that might be where I stay upon arrival til I find my own place.

The owner posts here, Ronnie. I've never heard a complaint & knew someone who lived there a while when he first moved down & he liked it.

It's ok. It's not in the greatest area. You can't beat the price for what you get. Don't walk down Garden St. at night. When I was there some people had been robbed coming back to the place. It's very central to many places in town. If you get a job on Main St. or say over at Green House then you'd be in a prime location. PM me if you want more info.

Yes, and even on my website i say it is not advisable to walk home at night. Actually one really shouldn't for safety reasons. All that may have had trouble readily admit not following my suggestion. I do understand however, that a task force of police are looking to clean up the area. I guess the task force is hurrying, as the guys are ridding themselves of each other so far!

Ronnie...not tryin to pat ya on the back man, but I stayed at his Crystal Palace for a week and all is good. I know others staying at the Villa Fairview right now that are cool with it. Living anywhere downtown doesnt matter where if you walk home at night you are just wearing a name tag to come after you. I lived in that area for 3 weeks and all is well. Just dont be STUPID.

Dont be drunk and stupid and put yourself in the wrong situation and you will be fine.

Any other questions lemme know..

Joe
